Ocean Aged Grande Cuvée Brut – Blanc De Blancs

This Ocean-Aged Sparkling Wine is inspired by the legendary shipwrecked champagne bottles that emerged from the depths in remarkably pristine condition, preserved for decades by the sea.

Invinity commissioned a custom, sea-worthy cage crafted by a local boat builder. We aged our premium 2019 Grande Cuvée collection on land for three years, and selected 48 bottles of Rosé and Blanc de Blancs, placed them in the bespoke cage, and lowered them into the cold, beautiful waters of the Salish Sea.

For the next three years, the bottles rested in a world of near-constant motion, surrounded by marine life, enveloped in darkness, and shaped by the rhythms of the tides. When we returned in September 2025 with a local diver to retrieve the cage, we discovered that storms and shifting currents had moved it over time—softening some labels, brushing away barnacles, and imparting a singular character to each bottle.

The result is a truly one-of-a-kind sparkling wine collection: every bottle marked by the ocean, each with its own story etched by nature.
